Vietnam Television’s VTV 4 is its international channel that offers a “best-of” package of programming to Vietnamese worldwide from its three domestic channels. The station was launched in 2000.

Tonight, Ms Tran Thuy Duong of the Talk Vietnam program interviewed the Swans’ National President, Phil Johns, about the Vietnam Swans.

The wide ranging interview covered topics such as the origins of Aussie Rules, its popularity in Australia, the origins of the Vietnam Swans, players in the Vietnam Swans, matches and other events.

In addition Ms Duong was keen to know more about two charity projects supported by the Swannies; namely, the Swim Vietnam program based in Hoi An and the Centre for the Protection of Children in Vung Tau and Long Hai.

VTV 4 will send a film crew to Vung Tau to film the Centre for the Protection of Children as well as the  Swim Vietnam Program.

The hits just keep on coming. Yesterday, yet another Hoi Anian commented on the dep trai awesomeness she had witnessed on VTV 4 discussing the Swans’ activities, and she wasn’t referring to me! It’s b****y October, & they’re still talking about him!
