Dickie Knee wears Swannies’ hat to see Myanmar National Soccer team play in Burma

Dickie Knee, left, on “Hey Hey it’s Saturday”, recently visited Myanmar wearing his Swannies’ hat.
You will remember Dickie Knee, the famous hat-on-a-stick from Channel 9′s very popular Hey Hey it’s Saturday variety program that finished in 1999 after a 27 year stint. Well, last month, Dickie Knee, happened to be in Yangon, Myanmar (Burma).
While Dickie was there, he watched the Myanmar National Soccer team play a match against the Rest of the World (ROW) team that comprised players from the Myanmar National League.
Obviously, Dickie, a great fan of the Swannies, wore his Swannies hat to the match. Alas, it didn’t seem to help the national team which was smashed by the ROW!
Before leaving the stadium, Mr Knee was said to have remarked that wearing a Swannies’ hat to a soccer match in Myanmar – just two months before the Swannies’ 2012 AFL Grand Final Parties – was further evidence of awesomeness.
