The 2008 AFL Grand Final is coming on Saturday, 27 September…
The Official Vietnam Swans 2008 AFL Grand Final Party has become tradition in Hanoi – and this year, we will host our first ever Grand Final Party in Saigon (HCMC, Ho Chi Minh City). Awwwwwwwwwesome.
The Essentials:
- Hanoi - Jaspas Bar & Restaurant, Level 4 Hanoi Towers, 49 Hai Ba Trung Street
- Saigon – No. 5 Bar & Restaurant, 43 Mac Dinh Chi Street, District 3
Both parties start at 9am and will go through until 4pm. Breakfast, lunch, Tiger Beer (Hanoi), Foster’s Lager (HCMC), Jim Beam, souvenir t shirts, auctions, raffles, competitions and the live telecast of the 2008 AFL Grand Final. All this for just 500,000VND in Saigon and USD30 in Hanoi. Unbelievable value, Mr Umpire.

The Vietnam Swans Grand Final Cyclo Parade is on again in Hanoi on Thursday 25 September 2008. It will commence from Le Pub in the Old Quarter at 6pm. For full details, click on 2008-grand-final-cyclo-parade-poster1
Basically, it’s a pub (and wine bar) crawl through the streets of the Old Quarter in honour of the AFL Grand Final. Dress up in your team’s colours, get into your Cyclo which will be decked out in the Vietnam Swans colours, grab a roadie - and the fun’s already begun!
Celebrating Aussie Rules in Hanoi’s Old Quarter is a spin out. So, take a spin in the Vietnam Swans Grand Final Cyclo Parade.

You’ll have to find a place that gets “Australia Network”. It’s the only network that matters on Grand Final Day.
