The Official Vietnam Swans 2009 AFL Grand Final Parties will be held in both Hanoi and Saigon. We also have friends of the Swannies running parties in Hue and Hoi An for the Big Day.
SAIGON
The venue will be The Cage, 3A Ton Duc Thang Street, District 1 and will cost 600,000VND (approx USD33) and will go from 9am – 3.30pm.
Price includes breakfast and lunch. There will be free flow Foster’s and an alcoholic punch. Red and white wine, Jim Beam & Cokes (Ready to Drinks), vodka cranberries, soft drinks also available. Raffles, competitions, auctions, games, giveaways (including free shirt for first 50 through the door).
At 3.30pm, the after match party starts…

HANOI
It will be held at JASPAS on the 4th Floor of Hanoi Towers, 49 Hai Ba Trung Street.
Tickets sold before Grand Final Day will cost USD30 and tickets at the door will cost USD35.
Breakfast, lunch, free flow Tiger and Jaacaritas. Jim Beam, soft drinks, raffles, auctions, competitions also happening. Prizes will include gifts from the Life Resort, Hoi An; the Green Mango Restaurant, JASPAS etc

HUE
The Hue Backpackers Hostel, part owned by Swannies’ Legend, Mick Francis and run by another Swannies Legend (for one match!) Hendo, will be putting on, quite possibly, Hue’s first ever Grand Final Party.
The Hostel is located in Pham Ngu Lau Street. Admission will be free and it will be a serious party.
HOI AN
In Hoi An, the Big Grand Final Day will be held at two venues:
- The Life Heritage Resort in the Heritage Bar at 1 Pham Hong Thai Street – 25 per cent discount on drinks during the game and a special snack food menu will also be available (Ph +84 510 3914-555.
- The Hai Café, 98 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street s promising “no entrance fees, big screens, barbecue all day, raffles, Tiger Girls, etc.” Contact the sensational Mr Nick for the latest information.

The Vietnam Swans Grand Final Cyclo Parade, Hanoi, 25 September 2008
The Vietnam Swans Grand Final Cyclo Parade is on again in Hanoi on Thursday 24 September 2008. It will commence from Le Pub in the Old Quarter at 6pm.
Basically, it’s a pub (and wine bar) crawl through the streets of the Old Quarter in honour of the AFL Grand Final. Dress up in your team’s colours, get into your Cyclo which will be decked out in the Vietnam Swans colours, grab a roadie - and the fun’s already begun!
Celebrating Aussie Rules in Hanoi’s Old Quarter is a spin out. So, take a spin in the Vietnam Swans Grand Final Cyclo Parade.

The pie shop you’re looking for is Crumbs which is located at 54 Truong Dinh in District 1, 08 3825 7199.
If you’re in Vung Tau, The Great Aussie Pie Shop is just over the road from the ferry terminal. 144 Ha Long, Vung Tau, 064 352 1984. They also do a great serve of fish and chips.

At this stage, we’re not aware of anyone who is screening the GF in Nha Trang. If we hear of a place, we will post it on our website. If you hear of a place, let us know and we’ll post it on the website.
You could always go to Hoi An, Hue or Saigon and then return to Nha Trang. Grand Final Day is probably the biggest day of the year…

Tickets are no won sale at Phatty’s Bar located at 40 Ton That Thiep District 1(behind Sunwah Tower Office Tower in Nguyen Hue Street) or at The Cage, 3A Ton Duc Thang Street, District 1. Alternatively, contact vietnamswans@gmail.com to try and organise a delivery somewhere else such as the Commonwealth Bank’s premises in D1.
