The commitment of the umpires to their tasks in the Tri Nations Tournament was exemplary. Take goal umpire, Jim, for example. With flags safely tucked under his arm, he watches the footy sail over his head before signalling another goal for the Swans. Jim was ably assisted at the other end of the ground by Peter Westwood.
Field umpires were Patrick Stringer from Hanoi and Howard and Steve from Thailand. Thanks also to the boundary umpires.
