Teresa, if you’re still in town, you can also go to Le Pub at 25 Hàng Bè, Lý Thái Tổ, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
There’s a big flat screen at the back, and they’ll put AFL on the Australia Network if you ask, unless someone has asked to watch the Icelandic tricycle championships (eastern zone). It happens.

Personally, I’d go to Le Pub in the Old Quarter (address above). Much more down to earth, almost certainly cheaper, and you’ll find fellow Aussies there. I watched Freo lose to Adelaide there last Friday (sob!) and had a great evening, except for the result.

I was in Hanoi in late March for the first AFL match of the season. If you walk the long road from the town to the beach, go to the last cafe on the left before you cross the road to the beach. It was showing the Australian Network and we watched Freo beat Geelong. Yay!
