Chris Connolly visits Tommy’s Bar in Vung Tau – and Sponsors’ Dinner tonight??

, was in Vung Tau yesterday and dropped into Tommy’s Bar – where he saw, among the Swannnies merchandise, memorabilia from the 2010 Kaspersky Club. The Kaspersky Cup was played in Shanghai between Melbourne, where Chris has been the football manager, and Brisbane.
It was also the same weekend that the Asian Championships were played. Our then coach, Josh Little, worked closely with Chris to organise the presentation of a Swannies jumper to Melbourne rookie, Rohan Bail. Rohan had donated one of his Melbourne jumpers to the Swannies to auction off at our AFL Grand Final Party a few weeks earlier. (Click here for the full story.)

Meanwhile, the whisper on the streets is that Chris Connolly could be a special guest at the Swannies 2013 National Sponsors’ Dinner in HCMC this evening. Watch this space.
