“Excel n Strike” it rich for Singapore Swannie!

Swannie, Dave "Flyer" Kainey enjoys a celebratory champagne after "Excel n Strike" - of which he is a part owner - won at the Singapore races last Friday. Note a very Lord-like Angus McEwin in the background sipping champagne while Dave proudly wears his Swannies' cap!
Last Friday, Swannie, Dave “Flyer” Kainey, trotted off to the Singapore Races to watch his horse, Excel n Strike, run its first race in Singapore.
What a race! What a finish! In its first run, Excel n Strike was the first past the post to give glory and happiness to the Flyer, the other co-owners, and all their new friends!
Fame, glamour and fortune are no strangers to the Swannies. Back in 2009, former captain, Monkey had some good fortune when his trotter, Led Suitcase, won a big race. Led Suitcase went on to become a sponsor of the Swannies’ 2009 AFL Grand Final Party – possibly a first for a trotter.
Coincidentally, Monkey has just returned to Vietnam for Nat Payne’s Buck’s night tomorrow and wedding on the weekend.
