Hanoi President of the Vietnam Swans speaks…
Dear Hanoi Swans and Supporters,
Thanks for joining us at the Embassy last Sunday for another great gathering with families and friends of the Swans.
It was an awesome chance to catch up again and share some truly memorable moments from the Vietnam Swans ANZAC weekend in Vung Tau. The DVD was fantastic and we will have copies available soon for those that would like one. Once again, a big thank you goes to Anne Maree and Phil Murphy for doing an incredible job, editing and putting together a Swannies masterpiece!! I’m sure it potentially could be a You Tube hit.
A special thanks also must go to Helen and Dan Kindness for organising a big part of the Sunday barbecue. The food was great and the cooking efforts of Helen, Dan and John & Lindel Brown were much appreciated.
Holiday season is approaching and I would like to wish all associated with our Club a good break. For those travelling about Asia or staying in Hanoi, don’t forget the up-coming game against the Cambodian Cobras, 10th of July in Phnom Penh. For those possibly heading home for a bit, keep in mind some key events:
- A Heritage Game in Hanoi ( Hawks V Swans ) – 28 August
- Planning is also underway for the annual Vietnam Swans Grand Final Day.
