Deadly floods ravage Queensland

Floods pound Queensland
On 7 February, 2009, bushfires devastated Victoria. Now, Queensland is being ravaged by flood waters with 8 confirmed dead and 72 missing.
has reported today that the Queensland Premier, Anna Bligh, has warned that the death toll from the devastating floods that swept through the Toowoomba region yesterday may rise ““.
Ms Bligh added, “Given the circumstances we have grave concerns for many of the people who are unaccounted for,” she told reporters in Brisbane this morning.
The Vietnam Swans community is shocked by the severity of the unfolding tragedy and our thoughts go out to our fellow Queenslanders during this terrible time.
