The Vietnam International Triathlon returns to Hoi An on 10-11 September 2011. The Swannies are no strangers to the triathlon which also raises money for Swim Vietnam. Pictured above are some Club favourites at the 2009 triathlon: Francis, McEwin and Shiells.
The organisers have billed the event as a “unique triathlon” (just exactly which bit of this triathlon is unique?? Is it the f*** long swim? The f*** long run? Or perhaps the f*** long ride?). According to the :
This unique triathlon kicks off on the palm-fringed sands of stunning Cua Dai Beach then winds its way into tropical hinterland which is home to many of the country’s major historical treasures, including the ancient World Heritage town of Hoi An.
When: 10-11 September 2011

The races include Olympic (1.5km swim, 10km run and 40km ride), Kids’ Aquathlon (200m swim, 1.5km run), Fun run (5km run), an awards dinner and a Heritage ride on the Sunday.
