The Swannies 2009 Christmas Party in Saigon
Coach Josh Little tells us about the Swannies’ Christmas Party tomorrow!
What a fantastic event the Indochina Cup was and thank you to all of you that participated and attended. Are you a little dirty that you might have missed out on that event? Well don’t be because the Swan’s Annual Christmas Party is going to be held this Saturday in District 2 from 12:00pm just near Parklands.
This is the Club’s way of saying thank you to everyone who played this year, all the families, sponsors and of course our diehard fans! The Christmas party is always a fun event for the kids with rumours that Santa might be dropping by with some presents for the kids. There is also a lovely pool so bring along your bathers if you feel like having a swim and there is also a basketball court and plenty of grass for the kids to run around.
There will be food (supplied by our new sponsor, the great Al Frescoe’s) as well as Foster’s, wine and soft drinks. It wouldn’t be a Swans event without some Jim Beam as well!
Price: 100,000VND (USD5) (In previous years this event has been free but given the costs of staging last weekend’s Indochina Cup and Best & Fairest, we will charge a modest fee of $5 this year).
The Club would really appreciate it if you could let us know in advance if you are planning on attending and how many numbers (including partners and children) so we can plan accordingly. If you are bringing children then please let me know their ages so can organise suitable presents from Santa. Please do so emailing .
With the Swans finishing the year on the highest of highs, make sure you come down to District 2 to celebrate what has surely been a great year and the perfect way to welcome the festive season.
